The body of the casket is covered in green briar with a distinctive dot grain, while the lid frame is made of polished wood with a glossy finish, a process reminiscent of classic fine furniture-making techniques.
The interior is lined with soft, well-preserved dark blue velvet, divided into compartments ideal for jewelry or small personal items. The front closure features a working lock with the original key and a decorative gold tassel.
The overall design, with its slightly curved shape and slender feet, recalls the style of Italian-made toiletry items and decorative caskets, with references to neoclassical and romantic taste.
